Methodology: TfL recorded 1.781bn bus passenger journeys and 1.3456m London Cable Car passenger journeys in 2025/26. The bus comparison uses the full-year average rate: 1.781bn ÷ 365 ÷ 24 ≈ 203,311 passenger journeys per hour. Dividing 1.3456m by that rate gives about 6h 37m.
